Wow! Beautiful place to visit. We took a prairie field walk with a naturalist. We identified at least 25 prairie plants. Learned so much about prairies, plants and animals. Please support them. Volunteer for work days or just visit a fabulous place.
If you go hiking in the fog, millions of intricate spider webs are easily visible. Including various orbweavers. Untouched and untamed hiking.
Chiwaukee Prairie is a beautiful SNA with three main trails. However, there needs to be work done to improve informational signage and property boundaries.
It was nice. Bring deet. We had to remove 11 ticks before even halfway through our walk and just ended up turning around
