Confirmed from Big Creek Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sprawling outdoor space featuring a paved walkway for jogging, biking and walking. Trails are dog-friendly.

One of my favorite places to go relax and enjoy a nice jog. The pathway is well kept, and there's plenty of fellow joggers about. Some if the path is paved with part is boardwalk. Great for bicycling! I can usually bicycle from side to the other and back causally in about 3 hours.
Wonderful place to walk, run, bike, or roller blade. I saw all of these yesterday. If you can go during less busy hours, there's still enough traffic to feel very safe. And fewer bikers flying by. It's an easy way to escape the sounds of the city for a while and drink in the sounds of nature.
This place is so fun to go to. I walked over 3 miles and didn't even feel tired because I was distracted by the views. Doing that to someone like me is so hard and very appreciated. They have bikes there that you can borrow if you want to. You can walk pets on a leash and enjoy the view. I can't wait to revisit.
Trail head is still in construction but can accommodate around 50 cars. Trail starts at 1.5 mile marker and it is around 9.6 in total. Very well maintained trail. Only thing missing at this trailhead is restrooms I am sure county will add them in future.

“The path is either paved, or is a wooden boardwalk the entire way, and has mile marker every tenth of a mile.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
