“Very peaceful and nice hike”
Zach's Lookout is a great hike and I would rate it as a moderate hike. Elderly people or young children would be able to accomplish this hike with a little difficulty. However, your average fit adult could do this hike with pretty much no difficulty. We went at the beginning of April of 2020 and it was a great hike.
Moderate to difficult hike for flatlanders. 1,000 ft in elevation change. Beautiful views.
Totally worth the hike to see all this beautiful landscape... love this place, and so does my dog.
The path to the falls is quick compared to the lookout and there's usually a lot of people, but past that the trail is long and mostly unmarked, but stick to the road and it's not too bad. A few trees were blocking the path to the lookout, which made it difficult on bike.
