Confirmed from Bike and Hike Trail - Silver Springs Lot Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly area featuring hiking trails.
What runners say about Bike and Hike Trail - Silver Springs Lot Trailhead
“That’s very diverse and extremely long well maintained and a true gem.”
Few road crossings. One big hill near Brandywine Falls. Nice place to ride, hike, jog.
The Bike and Hike Trail is it nice Trail it is blacktop the whole way. The trail is not very wide so if there's a lot of traffic it will be difficult for bikers and walkers to share the trail. it is a nice long trail runs for almost 16 miles I think.
This is a very nice part of the home and bike trails which go all the way through the area. It's shady, with plenty of breezes to keep you cooler while you walk or bike. Dogs are welcome and there's grass on both sides of the trail. There's enough room to get out of the way when a faster group moves past.
Bike, hike, stroll, saunter, scurry or skedaddle - the trail connects to many amazing places! Hope you run into a stick bug like I did.
Trail conditions & character
“Walked the trail and watched the dogs play in the beach area great idea for dogs”
“there are restroom facilities in water at different spots along the trail”
“There's a large parking lot with a water fountain for adults and children.”
