Confirmed from Bill Dreggors Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Exhibits on local history plus whimsical elephant & toy displays & a sensory butterfly garden.
What runners say about Bill Dreggors Park
“Nice clean park for children to play”
“Addition of a splash pad and concession stand would bring family friendly joy all year.”
Nice little park. Large playground and a decent size picnic pavilion. There's a nice walking path and a nice butterfly 🦋 garden area with a fountain.
this is a little hidden gem in DeLand! the Butterfly Sanctuary is quite small and, unfortunately, i didn’t see any butterflies other than the large sculpture. the park itself take up a good bit of space with its large playground, 4 covered pavilions with picnic tables, and many benches.
This is one of the hidden gems of DeLand. I love to run around the track. Or walk my dog around. And my daughter loves to play on the play ground and ride the zip line or play hide and seek/tag with the other kids. If you just want to quiet place to sit there is a place for that as well. Love it here.
We love this park and have been coming here for years. Our kids love Freedom Playground and they love to walk the trail around Bill Dreggors Park as a “cool down.” Very nice atmosphere with the playground, trees, open field, and the walking trail.
