Bishop park is a free community attraction located near downtown Wyandotte. It’s a beautiful waterfront with tons of parking, sitting areas, walking paths. It’s quite and peaceful. We always grab an icecream from nearby and stop by the waterfront to walk around, sit and relax. There’s a long pier to walk along.
If you want to walk beside the Detroit River, grill some food over charcoal, watch your kids have fun on swings or the jungle gym, buy an ice cream or a halal hotdog, Bishop Park is the place to be. Restrooms available and you can fish on the peer if you have a license.

This is such a great park. There is fishing, a great pier, benches- lots of freighter traffic to watch… playgrounds, walking trails… this made me love DOWNRIVER.
