Confirmed from Lions Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small green space featuring a playground, baseball diamonds and swings.
What runners say about Lions Park
“the playscape is so nice amd the park is very clean!”
“A great place to let the kids run out all of that extra energy.”
Nice clean park with newer playground equipment. My daughter loves to visit this park every time we ride our bikes. Lincoln Park needs to enforce the no dogs allowed rule here. I've almost seen dogs get into a fight here before.
I love coming here. There's plenty for the kids to get into as far as a small park goes. It could be better kept and that's the only reason for the 4/5 stars. Some of the landscaping is falling apart and is left that way but other than that, there's plenty of space to run, ramps, monkey bars, swings, a little wall for…
Great park with tons of things to do. A great variety for children of various ages and abilities. There were specialized swings for children. There is a lot of space in this park with a lot of area to walk. There are attached baseball diamonds also.
Nice clean and quiet. Just shy of 10 minutes to walk a lap at a brisk pace. Unless the high tension electric lines or the propane line access valve bother you.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
