Confirmed from Bishop Sports Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bishop Sports Park
“Great place for kids to play sports and hang out on the weekends clean and friendly”
I take my dogs for walks here. There is a paved/graveled loop that goes about a mile, mile and a half, that lets you come back to where you started. Start in the parking lot before the gate, make your way north along the trail til you hit the paved trail.
I use the park for walking and taking pictures. There is a loop around the complex that takes 1/2 hour or so. This is a favorite walk for many locals. There are two much longer walks possible.
Very nice park with a baseball diamond, soccer field and a nice bike trail/hiking trail with a great view next to the bay!

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
