We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Bixby Knolls "National Park" yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bixby Knolls "National Park"
“Clean, neat and well maintained, this place is just what you need to interrupt a stressful day.”
We had such fun at the tiny Bixby Knolls National Park. We were able to complete all of the trails, including the long haul over the treacherous bridge, with a spectacular view of Donut Rock! No Bungie jumping allowed on the bridge unfortunately but I am hopeful for some white water rafting adventures next year.
Not an official national park but it so cute to walk through haha. Its on the southwest corner of Roosevelt and Long Beach Blvd. Its small and takes about 15 seconds to walk through. There are animal statues placed, small wooden bridge, and a bench (on the sidewalk). They even have tiny info card by the plants!
It’s just a corner next to a bus stop, but for my toddler it’s huge. They have some things to look at and search on the sign. My toddler loves walking on the two step bridge. For other kids, this might be nothing fun but for a small child learning to explore, it’s something amazing.
