Confirmed from Wrigley Greenbelt's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Wrigley Greenbelt

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (121 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

The Greenbelt is the grassy area running adjacent to the LA River on the residential side. There's no pedestrian path here as it's literally just a stretch of grass and trees. If you want to bike or jog, go up the entrance to the bank of the river where there is a pedestrian/bike path.

What a spacious well kept park in the Wrigley, the place is new and the trails are easy to walk on, theres a lot of young trees and a lot of sounds coming from nature which makes this place so nice. There’s many places to sit and have a picnic, many blooming flowers here also during spring.

★★★★★ — Danny , Apr 2024

next to the riverbed where it's connected to Los Angeles good place to hike and there's no restaurants where there's restaurants around everywhere but this is connected to the riverbed to San Gabriel valley mountains

★★★★★ — Sheldon , Apr 2022

A nice trail along the LA River Bed. It's wheelchair accessible. It's a nice trail for younger children or senior citizens. It goes along some barns with horses.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
