Confirmed from Blackridge Reservoir's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lake offering a sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing, a playground and covered pavilions, plus boat rentals and trails.
What runners say about Blackridge Reservoir
“Clean, great views, fun park for the kids, and you can bbq near the water with the family for a summer fun filled day.”

“There are some covered pavilions with picnic tables too, but not a lot of grown shade trees.”
Today was very nice and quiet not too many people (I've been told it gets jam packed so we got lucky) the trail around is perfect for a relaxing walk and for kids to bike along, the beach area has several covered table areas for food, the beach "sand" is more like fine gravel and not very comfortable to walk on so…
super close to our house so very convenient. the only downside is if you visit in weekends or holidays it's $15 to park. you can kayak and swim. there is also sand to play in. some shade but not alot. and there are alot of little fish

“The bathrooms were well kept, there was minimal bugs for being a reservoir and the water was great.”
“Dogs are allowed on the grassy areas but not on the beach or in the water.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
