Confirmed from Blacksmith Fork Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Blacksmith Fork Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (164 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Great park, clean restroom, clean park, room to grow by adding more park toys/structures.”

I am so impressed with the parks in Cache Valley! 💜 This one is going to be a favorite. A HUGE skate park that I took my littles to, I wasn’t stressed about them getting run over by big kids because there’s enough room to spread out. And the playgrounds!! My kids were obsessed with the zip line and the monkey bars.

There is so much to do at this park. There are two playgrounds, a splash pad, disc golf course, pickleball courts, basketball court, skatepark, baseball diamond, sledding hill and a dog run. There is also a small amphitheater near the South side playground. There is plenty of open space with trees.

This is a great park. It has so many things to do. Two play grounds (slides, swings, a merry go round, zip line, and other climbing toys), lots of green space with a walking path. There is a splash pad, skatepark, basketball court, pickleball courts, tennis court.

★★★★★ — Dusti , Apr 2025

This park has everything! Two playgrounds, a splash pad, dog parks for small and large dogs, as well as a skate park, little amphitheater, paved walking trails and baseball fields. Convenient indoor bathrooms make it easy to spend lots of time here with little kids.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
