Confirmed from Blacksmith Fork River Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (60 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 11 mentions

“The section beyond the gate is really beautiful, trees overgrow the trail below and evening rides become dark quickly.”

👟 good for all levels 4 mentions

“This is an overall easy hike with some inclines and declines.”

So many adventures await you here. Wide, well maintained trails that wind along the creek, duck into woods, drift by historic buildings, and take you into the pines. Wildlife is abundant and birds keep you entertained with their songs from above. A great spot for an easy or challenging hike. It's up to you.

Great easy trail. It also has a bike trail, you can hike next to the river witch makes them hot days a little more cool. Has quite a few spot to camp and relax next to the river.

★★★★★ — The , Sep 2020

Really beautiful and quiet. Easy hike that's mostly flat. I don't know where the trail leads because I always turn back after an hour or so.

★★★★★ — Emma , Jun 2023

This is an awesome trail. So beautiful. Especially in the fall when the leaves are changing.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
