I've lived next door for the past 10-ish years and I've never been. I assumed it was like some kind of attraction slash farmers market thing (which it may be in the peak season). I went there today to just walk around outside and I was impressed! I'm coming here way more often.
Nice and very quiet park. beautiful covered wooden picnic pavilion for large groups. Great old homestead building. And also a pond with little duck. Very recommended for a picnic or a nice walk with family.
Attractive park with informative placards and lovely rolling fields. Did the Mary's Trail to Alice's Loop trail. Nice trail, well marked. Roots and rocks make for tricky footing in some places, but all marked with a "more difficult" sign.
This is the best new park in the Triangle. Had the chance to walk the shorter loop trail, and explore the new amphitheater and picnic shelter. This looks and feels like a park that fills a missing gap — a place to explore agriculture heritage, wooded areas, ponds, and mowed fields.
