Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park is amazing! It has many hiking, biking trails. It is open year round.

A relatively small park, nice loops with plenty of interconnected paths. Very clean forrest. I followed one main brook/creek, it was easy to walk along the water instead of the trail, And ended up at the road by the beginning of the loop. I had a one person pick-nick while listening to The Wind by Keith Jarret.

A gorgeous hike in upstate NY with barely any crowd. Total of 650ft elevation so a relatively easy hike with a partial view of the Hudson from top but the path itself is very scenic and there are a couple of lakes to stop by if you do the whole loop.

★★★★★ — Kriti , Oct 2023

Decent walk and lovely playground for kids. Beautiful Fall colors everywhere :) We didn’t find the markings to be a problem, just take a picture of the map at the board on site and follow the numbers on the posts and colored markings in the trees. Easy.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
