Confirmed from Charles Point Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful place, amazing place for fishing, crab etc. So many parking spots available and its free. Best spot for sunset. Can see bear mountain and bridge from here. Trail is maintained properly. Also have places to sit. Good for biking, walking, watching sunset, and take some photos. Beautiful views

The views here is so breath taking and calming. Lots to do in this area as well, my personal favorites is walking the walkway to Peekskill or sitting on one of the benches enjoying the scenery.

★★★★★ — Timothy , Aug 2022

Beautiful view of the Hudson River and the start of a great walk along the newly built walkway that goes all the way to the Annsville Circle bring a linch or enjoy great tasting Italian food midway through the walk at Taorminas and for dessert right next door is Hudson Creamery for some handmade icecream!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
