This is a well designed, lovely park adjacent to the Peekskill High School athletic complex. There are intersecting hiking or strolling trails. We are mobility challenged, but found it easy to walk on the wide trail around the lake.
Overall it was a nice first visit to the park. Beautiful, nice area with picnic tables, and seemingly many tails. However, I really wish there was a better trail map online or that the trails were marked better. We were worried about getting lost so sort of skirted the parking lot.
Depew Park-Peekskill, NY, is a great park to visit. Has easy to intermediate hiking trails, and very nice picnic areas with beautiful lakes, and playgrounds for kids. Park is maintained very well. In Peekskill there are nice residential areas, and by the RR Station nice restaurants and a nice park on the Hudson.
Great scenery and recreational activities. There's trails to walk or ride a mountain bike. Olympic size swimming pool. Playground for the kid's.😎👍💯
