Confirmed from Blue Springs Lake Loop Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Blue Springs Lake Loop Trailhead
A very fun and engaging loop. It's marked, but there are little confluence points where trails meet and split apart, so an app is a good idea. But watch your step as you walk. The bluffs side of the trail is not difficult, but it demands focus. Wear good shoes! Some really cool views and plenty of exercise!
Amazing complex of walking trails. Varying degrees of difficulty, with many different paths to go on. Also connects to Fleming Park entrance.
Beautiful in the summer AND the winter! There is an easier route, but it's still not for kids. Beginning hikers, absolutely. I do the 5-mile, harder skill level loop when I go. I take my time and take a lot of pictures, so it usually takes me close to 3 hours to complete. However, it can be done much faster.
I just love hiking, and this was good for the time of year and distance.
