We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Bluebonnet West trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bluebonnet West trail
“Quite beautiful scenery and very easy to get a great shot.”
Trail is not exactly the best way to describe this, it is more like a small driving loop where you can stop at take pictures and eat at the picnic tables. It is a beautiful area right by the water. Some of the picnic tables are shaded, but not all of them.
Nice paved walking trail with family and kids. lot of resting benches in nice spots. blue bonnets were really amazing during our visit there in last week of march
