Confirmed from Meadow View Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring bluebonnets and other wildflowers in April plus picnicking and a public restroom.
What runners say about Meadow View Nature Area
“Everyone around us was smiling, clearly sharing in the joy of the moment as they took in the beautiful scenery.”
“Some of the picnic tables are shaded, but not all of them.”
Great outdoor.. I loved that there were picnic seating between the flowers..so nice. It is a circular trail that you drive throug with your car.. there is enough roadside to park your car and take some pictures.
So pretty. Not as many bluebonnets as I expected but it might just be the area or true end of season. Everyone was very chill and social distancing so it was great. I could let my dogs off leash a bit to run around and get photos.
A gem for bluebonnets. We have been twice. Beautiful lake backdrop. Thank you to the city of Ennis! Open for bluebonnets trails starting April 1st!
