Confirmed from Veterans Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Bluebonnet-covered space featuring a playground, picnic tables and memorials.
What runners say about Veterans Memorial Park
“Took some beautiful pictures of my kids when the Bluebonnets were in bloom.”
Can I stop for cleaning public bathrooms there is a park and dog area plenty of parking. Picnic tables and slides. And of course there is a huge memorial area for the veterans. The bluebonnets are just starting to bloom good spot for photos along the trails.
Bluebonnets were pretty. There was quite a bit too. It's sad the number of people that clearly ignore the rules & allow their children and to run through them trampling them or laying them. The Veterans Monument was really cool and interesting to see. Very nice.
Very beautifully done. Serene walk-through memorial with a section for each of the major wars America was in. You can read about each one and reflect on the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country.
Very nice area to just get outside for awhile with the kiddo. Definitely wish they had swings, but they have plenty of space to run around plus an area for the kids & a sidewalk track. Definitely will be back ❤️
