Beautiful overlook of eureka and maremac river. Great for hiking and biking. Connects to alfoster trail and zombie bike trails. There are new bike trails that are easy and flowy with a few jumps that can mostly be rolled over. The overlook has been paved and shade and seating has been added.
I started to look for the best autumn view in the great St Louis area since last fall. I finally found it here. Although this is a new trail opened 8/10/2015, the beautiful view shows the opposite of its age.
One of the best Bike Trails I've tried so far... Great Downhill sections and now they have the new jumps and pump track at the top! It is just a 15 to 20 minutes drive from the cjty and there is plenty of parking spots.
Great view. Roughly a half mile out and back hike over either single track dirt trail or a deteriorating paved path. Great payout for the effort.
