Confirmed from Bob Callan Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A nice trail for walking or running, this trail is concrete, runs on the side of a beautiful stream throughout the whole trail. It's medium to highly crowded and hence wear a mask!

Great paved trail - perfect for after it has rained. The parking lot is quite small, maybe 10-15 spots but it wasn’t crowded on a Saturday around 10:30am. The trail was pretty empty when I went, I only passed 7 or 8 people over the span of an hour. There’s lots of trees and shade and very dog-friendly.

To wind down after work and before making the drive home..This is the go to trail for me...I do not want to ride home in traffic..perfect way to decompress and get a good workout. Just Peaceful

Great little trail close to the city! On a Saturday morning it wasn't too heavily trafficked, and the entire path is paved. There is some elevation change, but the path stays mostly level so it's a great not too challenging walk. Good views! You pass by some bridges and walk along the creek.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 9 mentions

“The paved trail runs parallel to Rottenwood Creek, then ends at Interstate N Parkway after passing below multiple bridges and near offices buildings.”
