Confirmed from Bogart Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Bogart Regional Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (540 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“The playground and large field and bathrooms were very nice and well maintained.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 9 mentions

“Always a beautiful time at this park I come here to ground my self and it's the perfect place to do so”

Nice little gem tucked away close to the mountains. There are many trails in the park. For an easy family-friendly hiking trail I recommend hiking the Candlelight Trail. At the view point you can, on a clear day, see Lake Perris, Mt. San Jacinto, Mt. San Gorgonio, San Timoteo Canyon, Diamond Valley Lake, and much more!

We came here for a day hike by the creek. It was super nice. Lots of mature oak trees. Running creek water was soothing, cold, and relaxing to hike along. Great campsites. Clean. Bathrooms. Parking. A only a few campers midweek.

Very nice little Park have a very nice equestrian area or you're allowed to bring your horses and camp also has Corrales set up flush toilets with clean bathrooms Niceville day use area with a small fishing pond lots of hiking trails and horse trails ran into three bears over by the kids playground at night be careful…

Beautiful hiking trail. There are a lot of upward curves and hills, some of these trails are not for the faint at heart! But I visited there last week and if you get far enough, there is a little creek. We did hear rattlesnakes and there is poison oak and ivy here, so be well aware and watch for your pets!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
