Confirmed from Boulevard Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

One of our favorite family parks. Could stand a few upgrades to the ballfields (our son has practice there and the first field is always a mess and the back field could use some bleachers) Some of the playground equipment has caution tape on it. has for awhile. sooooo wondering what's going on there.

Wow — what an incredible park we discovered during our road trip! We were looking for a spot where our dog could stretch his legs and take a break, and we’re so glad we found this hidden gem. The walking paths are well-maintained and scenic, with small lakes, a playground, and clean park restrooms.

What a lovely, small park that is a part of the Lake Saint Louis park system. I came here with my dog while I was searching for a new field for my dog to explore and run around. This place was quiet, with only a couple of guests when I was there. There are plenty of green spaces and parking spots for everybody.

Really great, scenic park. Lots of opportunities for getting active and a nice trail around the park to take a walk. The location is pretty convenient next to the elementary school for kids to play and the playground is nice and equipped well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Boulevard Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.

Posted hours for the park or trailhead. Gates and parking lots often close earlier than the trail itself, and seasonal hours change — worth a check before a pre-dawn or after-dark run.
