Confirmed from Bowers Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bowers Park
If you like disc golf this is a great place for you. Plenty of parking spaces, all sorts of playgrounds and covered picnic areas. Walking trails and baseball fields as well. Whenever we travel we like checking out the local parks.
Plenty of parking and walking area. Well kept grounds and often a PARA ranger patrols if you have any issues. There are also bathrooms near the batting cages.
I love this park it is big and their is a lot going on in the summer. When you step in here it feels like you are in a bit more of a natural and secluded area than most places in the city.
Bowers has Park has been around forever! Prettysafe place with the Police Dept. building at the entrance to the park. Softball, Swimming, Walking. Good place for a get together.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
