Confirmed from Boyd Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 4.2-acre green space offers a creek & picnic tables, plus redwood-forest trails & a playground.
What runners say about Boyd Memorial Park
“Wow, they have done an amazing job with showcasing the garden and making beautiful sit spots!”
“A nice, quiet spot in the corner of the city.”
Lovely park with relatively easy incline walk. Great view of San Rafael and bay from the top. After a rain you can hear the hundreds of frogs walking up.
This park is a major part of my youth. My mother used to manage the Wilkins Hotel and like many kids of the 60s, once we got up, ate some breakfast, and went on adventures.
This hike is beautiful. Easy to get to and moderate uphill / if you're fat and lazy like me you will sweat. just go up Robert Dollar drive and the trailhead there and when you hit the fork you can go either way because of loops. I recommend taking a right it's less uphill severity. And it shaded.
A nice, quiet spot in the corner of the city. There is a nice playground for the kids. The walk around the park was nice. You can see a pond in the park. Much of the park is well shaded by beautiful trees l.
