Confirmed from Braddock Bay Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean bay-area park featuring hiking trails and a hawk-watching platform.

We sometimes visit with friends. The kids can swim while we hang out on the beach. There are shady areas right there and water is shallow out a ways. No lifeguards on duty, however. Restrooms are a bit of a walk away. Plenty of room on week days, but weekends can be full.
I actually only visited the kayaks, canoes entry dock. I was quite impressed by the thoughtful inclusion for handicap paddlers. The Bay was beautiful, and the dock was clean and well kept. The scenery was nice, too. I do plan to return and walk around more and explore. I'll let you know what I find.
Went in February and it was gorgeous even then. Lovely sunsets and the trails were still accessible. I go back all the time to see what new nature experiences it will yield!
I love coming to this park. It's off the normal path and away from the hectic mess of the popular beaches. Amazing trails and bird watching. Such a great place to unwind and relax. If you have kids, like me, you'll love the playground too. A little something for everyone. My wife and I love it.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
