Confirmed from Bradys Pond Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bradys Pond Trail
“Beautiful lake with great bass fishing and tons of land to hunt for any type of game you wish.”
Brady's Lake is one of Monroe County's most underutilized lake areas. Most days you can enjoy the lake almost by yourself, even in the middle of a sunny summer Saturday. About 2 miles long and pretty narrow, it is an easy after work paddle.
It's a long 3 mile road from Rt 940 to get to the lake, but it is a beautiful lake. There are trails around the lake. The part I was on was an easy walk.
There is a place to put your boat in and a nice trail for walking. Start the trail by crossing the dam.
Beautiful place in the Poconos. Can be quite crowded from late Spring into Fall, but nice trails and decent birding.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
