What a lovely trail so close to home. my daughter and I set out yesterday to explore new places and get out of the house. Not wanting to go far from home I was happy to find this spot. I was so surprised by the variety of things we saw while there. We waded in the Stream and saw freshwater clams and snails.

This is one of my favorite places to go when I'm looking for a quiet hike away from people. They've really cleaned it up this year with all the renovations to Sprinker Park. You can make the choice to walk spanaway creek or branch off and find your own path deeper into the woods.
