We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Porter Hills Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Porter Hills Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (11 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Beautiful trail where you feel completely immersed in nature. The only downside is there are no signs so it's very easy to get lost. I had a blast but definitely had to backtrack and use my phone so I wouldn't get stranded. Ended up running 6ish miles instead of the 5 I had planned

★★★★★ — Hyeon , Dec 2023

Multiple loops and routes are available, all of which are fairly easy and have minimal elevation changes. These trails border the explosives storage area, DO NOT proceed past the explosives clear zone signs into the restricted area.

Really nice trail to hike with the kids not to long but plenty for young kids
