Confirmed from Brush Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Brush Canyon Park
“restroom clean area of park nice location, has a little bit of what you need for a park, huge field for baseball or soccer”
Nice park. Has tennis courts, basket ball courts, that can convert to pickle ball. Large playing field for soccer, football, softball, etc. Has clean bathrooms with soap and toilet paper. (Some don't now...) has a parking lot, and parking on the street. Has picnic benches, covered picnic area and charcoal grills.
I love small parks with a lot of trees. Playground is not big but theres a tennis court and a lot of place to run. Also the park is very clean and it's pretty secluded so its feels safe to me. Has clean public bathrooms which is very necessary for families with little ones.
This is a very good place to bring your kids, play tennis, basketball or bring your pets like I do. There is enough space for everyone and the people that come in here are friendly and neighborly. I like this park because they don't run out of doggy poop bags which means that it cleaner and more sanitary.
Nice place to walk and relax. Basket ball court, two tennis courts, picnicking huts and tables, public restrooms! Saw folks doing taichi there. Nice park over all. Highly recommended.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
