Confirmed from Buena Vista Park Loop Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly, family-friendly park featuring a pond and multiple trails for hikers, bikers and dog-walkers.

“Very quaint park(and leashed dog friendly).”
I absolutely love these trails! My 8 year old and 2 year old have so much fun also. Awesome that there are a couple trail areas that are fully shaded as well.
This is a great place for hiking. Got some easy flat trails. A couple of good hills. Some shady paths, big granite boulder formations and a creek.
Very quaint park(and leashed dog friendly). The trailhead features a decent amount of parking as well as a restroom. There are several picnic tables as well as lush grass to well picnic in. To the side is a small pond with ducks and other birds. The trail entrance is in the back depending on where you enter.
My Sporty Senior Rosie 🐶 was in heaven here—rolling around in the grass by the pond, completely in her element. We loved watching the ducks waddling around, soaking in the breeze and fresh air. Ms. Sporty suddenly went on a mad mission, zipping down the nearby trail like she had somewhere very important to be.
