Confirmed from Bugline Trail - North Lake Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bugline Trail - North Lake Trailhead
“It's a beautiful paved course for biking.”
If you haven't experienced the bugline trail, you really should. It's a beautiful paved course for biking. There are a lot of things to do in Menomonee Falls, and now it's actually paved all the way to Northlake. It goes through some very scenic territory. There are things to do and see at Sussex.
This trailhead marks the western terminus of Waukesha County’s paved Bugline Trail. Access is via Hartman Court; food and services nearby on Hwy 83 in North Lake. Roadside parking is somewhat limited. No other facilities.
Great trail. Nice smooth path. A little annoying with all the stop signs in about a 2 mile stretch, but it is what it is. The views and condition make up for it.
