Confirmed from Pollworth Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring baseball fields, plus a paved bike path leading to a lake.
What runners say about Pollworth Park
“Well maintained park, nice concession area, access to bugline trail.”
“It was very well kept up, organized and quite honestly beautiful.”
Beautiful park with 4 baseball fields. 2 small ones and 2 big ones. Perfect location too. The only weird part is that you have to go through a whole residential area to get to it. Clean bathrooms. There are no bleachers on the small fields, so bring your own chair. There is also a walking path that goes through it.
Great pavilion and concessions area. Baseball fields, soccer fields, batting cages and lots of open space. Right on biking and walking trail by a river.
Lots of play equipment: swings, slides, sand diggers, climbing. Equipment I pretty new and in good condition. Playground adjacent to baseball fields and along the Bug Line bike trail.
Great local park with baseball and soccer fields. Bike trail just to the south. Playground is within walking distance at Merton Fireman's park.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
