Confirmed from Bulow Creek State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene, almost 5,600-acre park with ancient oaks, submerged areas, historic ruins & trails.
What runners say about Bulow Creek State Park
“The trails are well maintained, there are some muddy areas about halfway just before you get to the bridge where it crosses over a creek.”
“Take pictures do some fishing or just enjoy the beautiful view.”
This old growth forest truly has a mystical feeling about it. The energy here is unique compared to most state parks and forests that have been constantly disturbed by human activities; this one has not and it shows. Definitely recommend.
I spent the afternoon here, it was well worth it. Some great trails to hike on. I hiked the main trail for over 4 1/2 mi and it was very interesting with all the wildlife out in the swampy areas. Crabs were coming to the surface in a moving water mass under the bridge.
Took a family hike here with our 3 year old. He absolutely loved it! We turned around at this creek area as it was getting late in the day. We did see some wildlife including a gator, some small harmless snakes, a deer, and many squirrels!
I really love this location. The bike trails the walking trails. I really connected with Earth and grounded myself. Got to see woodpecker's dears all the of birds and ground myself. It was really an amazing experience. Great location to get away from the madness of the city life. I'll be still
