Confirmed from Coon Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Coon Creek Park
“Well kept up and access to bunker hills.”
“Not a lot of area for adventuring, but even on the small trail that runs through it you can still see some beautiful scenery.”
“I love to bike, run and rollerblade this trail.”
There is a great trail going through Coon Creek Park. This trail follows Coon Creek for about 2 miles and connects Bunker Hills Regional Park to other trails in Andover. The path is in pretty good shape and doesn't get too crowded. I love to bike, run and rollerblade this trail.
It's a beautiful trail system that has easy access points. It connects to the trails within Bunker park.
Coon Creek Park is a nice and tiny little park hidden away in the woods. Comes complete with a children's play area (playground over sand and wood chips, slides, etc) and a small basketball court.
A nice quiet area along the creek. You can walk or bike along here for miles.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
