Easy access to the park from the southern end of Amelia Island. Spacious parking, pavillion with grill, picnic tables, bathroom facilities with running water. Indoor and outdoor showers. Nice boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. Less busy than some of the other public beaches on the island.

Not very many people on the beach right now. There was surf fishing, dog walking, people walking for exercise and a few basking in the sun. It's not like American Beach anymore, it's more like Amelia Island part two.
