Confirmed from Caesar Creek State Park Wildlife Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
State park and lake known for fossil hunting and fishing, with trails for hiking, playgrounds and picnicking.

We went to the nature center that's near the pioneer village and my son found this beautiful map turtle 🐢 that hasn't been seen in our are since 1976. Hope he makes it. So if you take a visit, walk carefully around the pound you never know what you might find. Don't want to step on anything. Also we saw a baby deer.
Free entry to the park and beautifully maintained facilities. The trails are well marked, but not paved. The area is full of wildlife and great bird watching. The staff at the Welcome Center is always very cheerful and full of information, stop to grab a map, have a chat, and buy something from their shop.
Full day, 20 mile hike with BSA Troop 27 from New Carlisle. Lots of different fungus/mushrooms. Beautiful area.
Really loved the visitor's center. The ranger on duty was super friendly and helpful in pointing out trails that would be of interest to us.
