Confirmed from Caledonia Lakeside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly space with 2 playgrounds, shaded picnic tables and wooded trails.
What runners say about Caledonia Lakeside Park
“Newly updated equipment, always clean and friendly atmosphere!”
“Spring-fall it is beautiful, there are PLENTY of separate areas to play, explore, trails, wildlife watch and even find fishies in the lake!”
“It's so beautiful and peaceful as long as bees aren't chasing other visitor!”
Great place to play. Two playgrounds, places to walk around through the woods, good bathroom facilities and picnic areas. We love going down to the creek and the lake and playing and swimming and catching frogs, seeing snakes and other wildlife. Have been going for years and still haven't explored everything yet!
Great playground in a beautiful setting! There's so much to do from the large fields, two separate playgrounds, and the lake to fish. The park also had wooded trails, both paved and dirt. Also, there is plenty of space to have a picnic.
We love this park! As a family you can spend hours. We appreciate that there’s 3 different play grounds and work for different age levels. Walking paths to the water with a cute bridge are a favorite. There are pavilions to escape the heat/sun, drinking fountains for people and a dog fountain.
This is our favorite park in the area. Spring-fall it is beautiful, there are PLENTY of separate areas to play, explore, trails, wildlife watch and even find fishies in the lake! Two playground areas and plenty of picnic areas wrap it up to cover off anything you’d need in a park!
