Confirmed from Lepard Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lepard Nature Preserve
“Lepard Preserve is a beautiful, tucked away trail at the edge of the county.”
Lepard Preserve is a beautiful, tucked away trail at the edge of the county. The loop itself is just under 1 mile in length, meaning you can enjoy a casual lap around the park or challenge yourself to hiking the trail multiple times.
Nice loop of a trail with a cool temporary stream. Lots of forest scenery with a large field at the back end of it.
A couple of short but steep hills may stop those with challenges to walking, but the high level of trail care helps. The wildflowers are blooming in abundance lately, and the verdance is breathtaking. Educational signs galore are interesting, even challenging.
When I was working in Grand Rapids, I would walk here until my hands would freeze. Such a quiet park.
