We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Camp Tuscazoar Preserve Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Camp Tuscazoar Preserve Trailhead
New alternate trailhead at Camp Tuscazoar for bike, horse and hiking trails. Awesome views in all directions.
Hiking with the family. Lots of marked trails. Does have a porta potty.
I grew up in the area and recently returned for the holidays. I’m really impressed with the continued infrastructure improvements at Camp Tuscazoar and on the Towpath. It’s a hidden gem for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running in T-County.
I enjoy it alot. I'm a hiker,it gives me an alternative starting point as well. I still get 4-6 hours of hiking in, there's a good chance of seeing deer feeding too.
