Confirmed from Crider Avenue Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Compact trail featuring a short climb up a hill and back down, plus birds.
What runners say about Crider Avenue Trail
“Finally dry enough for a relaxing walk and to enjoy the beautiful chirp, chatter and singing of the birds.”
Just a short little loop up a hill and then back down it. We did see two deer which really got my children excited. Could do a few loops before you go to make it a real workout.
The perfect little loop for walking with the family. It has a steep hill climb right at the start, but there are benches to rest at if you need a break. It's nice to get out in the wilderness (even if it's still pretty much in town) with family.
Finally dry enough for a relaxing walk and to enjoy the beautiful chirp, chatter and singing of the birds. And a good chance of seeing some curious deer.
Great little trail. About a half mile includes a winding path that goes up a small hill. We've seen deer, fox, and various birds. Beautiful

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
