This was my second time doing this short but lovely walk . It was quite , beautiful and relaxing until the end when I was walking on the marked walking trail back out to my car when a guy in a black Ford Ranger almost hit my dog and I. It scared me so bad. He obviously didn’t like Hikers .
Short drive from New Albany, IN or Louisville, KY. Easy trail with benches throughout. Quiet and crowd light! 😊 I had the whole place to myself. Parking is right at the foot of the trail and everything was easy to walk to.
Nice place to walk on blacktop road. Great for bikes and walking. Grandkiddos love to come here, check out the creek and picnic. Picnic table, porta pot, trashcan, benches to sit along trail.
Beautiful forest ecosystem! Had a refreshing hike and path was safe and very well finished. My hats off to Floyd County parks for this purchase! More green spaces need to be purchased for parks like this one! What a great example of what can be transformed and accomplished when buying land.
