Confirmed from Candies Creek Greenway Access' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Candies Creek Greenway Access
This is a new walking trail that runs just over a mile from Candies Lane to I-75 passing through open areas and woods as it runs next to Candies Creek. It crosses the Dobbs Bridge (read the historic marker). Once away fron Candies Lane there is no traffic noise.
Fast becoming my dog's and my favorite walking spot. Very pretty and quiet. No traffic sounds, noises and smells from nearby restaurants, like I notice at some of the other Greenway locations. Would love to see some benches and waste bins, and I'm sure they'll have them by next summer.
Excellent flat paved walking path on part of the old Rolling Hills Golf Course. The old cart paths were small and worn, the new paved path is much better and now extends to I75 with a dead end, but I think it is supposed to eventually connect to Fletcher Park.
Loved this park! Two short "loops". One is down the sidewalk past the neighborhood. Kinda muddy, but not as bad as fletchers after a rain.
