Confirmed from Schimmels Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Schometimes I go to Schimmels Park and take a schimple walk with my dogs. They schomtimes bark at passing schtrangers and poop in the grass. We then clean up the schfeces with a plastic bad and continue our schimple walk. We have a heck of a time at Schimmels Park.

For starters there are NO speed bumps right next to the playground so vehicles go flying passed by. There is no real shade either there. One of the baby swings is broke. There is no parent seating other than a bench off the side of the walking path.

Cute little park at the end of Lee's campus. Has a few swings and a slide. My 2 year old really had fun while we were there. It doesn't have a lot of shade around the playground, but the grassy walkway near it is all shaded.

One of my favorite Parks as it is located at my alma mater. It's great for a walk and great to set up a hammock or two with friends. There is an area for kids as well. It's a great place to hang.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🤫 Quiet / uncrowded 6 mentions

“Very nice little park well maintained very peaceful and quiet There's also places where u can park and places where u can sit.”
