Confirmed from Canterbury Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small, peaceful park featuring a playground, a basketball court and a tennis court.
What runners say about Canterbury Park
“Well maintained, tranquil location for intense fitness workouts!”
“Beautiful jogging paths, a classic sledding hill that attracts all the neighborhood families in the winter and Tai Chi lessons on the tennis court during the Summer.”
“Nice, quiet, hidden park in the southern end of Montclair off of Orange Road.”
Small cute little park in the cut of the South End of Montclair. There’s a basketball court, an ~ 0.4 mile walking track, a playground for multiple ages, a mini workout area and a small soccer field. There’s a beautiful little hill and a decent amount of grassy area. The park just had an update.
Really a small, quiet and relaxing park to hang out on a summer afternoon. Has an 'all weather' walking/running track that loops around a roughly 800 meter span, and surrounding the track is a basketball court with mini-workout stations for strength, and body weight exercises.
Wonderful walking/jogging track. Beautiful fenced in children's play area. Nestled back off of Orange Road.
Canterbury Park is a little piece of nature in Montclair. There are open spaces for playing or walking. It has exercise equipment for adults and a track for running or walking. There's also an enclosed playground for small children and a hill for sledding when it snows.
