Confirmed from Canyon Rim Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 9 mentions

“This is a beautiful and well maintained paved bike/run path, with stunning views all the way.”

We rode our bikes on the trail from the visitor center to Shoshone Falls. It was a wonderful bike ride - there are several scenic views to stop at. As we took off, we were able to stop and watch 2 guys BASE jumping from the east side of the bridge.

★★★★★ — Shauna , Sep 2025

It is a beautiful and well-maintained trail. It was very long, so we could not finish it on foot, but we saw many people biking there, which was a great idea. There are lots of luxury houses lining up the trail.

This is a beautiful and well maintained paved bike/run path, with stunning views all the way. Parking is available at Twin Falls visitor center and other spots along the trail. I’m grateful the city provides this awesome trail

★★★★★ — Dallin , Jun 2025

Great views of the Snake River and how it has cut a gorgeous valley below. The climb on the trail from Shoshone falls park to the top of the rim can be a challenge on a bike, even an E-bike!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 16 mentions

“This place needs to be on your list of places to see and don't forget to go behind the waterfall it's quite the view of the back side of the falls.”
