Confirmed from Centennial Waterfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Centennial Waterfront Park
“The water is low this time of year, requiring us to carry our boards over the lower dry falls to access the second half of the river to the gorgeous Shoshone Falls.”
Had just moved to Idaho about five months ago. With last minute planning, we threw together a trip to Twin Falls for my kids' spring break. Centennial Waterfront Park was great...right in town but so close to great hiking and outdoor adventure. Will definitely be going back.
I was here in the winter but it's still a beautiful park with some very significant native American cultural ties.. the natives had shelter caves that are marked and can still be seen.. I believe these sights should be better preserved and taken care of for future generations to see and experience..
My husband and I bring our kayaks down here a lot. It's the best place to get in the water at as it's the calmest. Then we kayak up the river past the bridge to pillar falls. It's a lot of fun! Tends to get pretty busy though and runs our of parking fast but still one of the best places to go.
Beautiful area! The perfect spot to launch Kayacks and paddleboards! Just make sure you follow the regulations and have a whistle, life vest, an invasive species permit, and that you stop at the boat check-in station, even for paddleboards.
