Confirmed from Mogensen Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mogensen Trail
“Really fun scenic hiking not too difficult”
To see the Snake River Canyon from a different perspective, you can pick up this trail from Centennial Waterfront Park. This takes you right through the canyon and under the magnificent Perrine Bridge. If you catch a day with plenty of BASE jumpers, you may find yourself watching them transfixed for a few minutes.
This trail is spectacular! You can get some of the best canyon and bridge photos. The trail isn't to difficult and unless you take the path up the canyon to the bottom parts of the bridge. All-around great trail for anyone.
This place is GORGEOUS! The trail isn't the easiest, so if you have young kids you may end up having to carry them a bit. Honestly I wanted to crawl the rest of the Way back a couple of times!!! Lol.
Super nice trail with a relatively easy hike. Not too many steep slopes. Trails are rather wide (a bit larger for mountain bikes). Did not encounter any bikers on this trail. The trail follows the Snake River. There are many nice pictures spots to have the Perrine Bridge in the background.
Trail conditions & character
“Pretty awesome to see the waterfall and watch the base jumpers twice.”
“Nice hike but be aware, family members had their cars broken into and purses stolen parking at this trailhead.”
